So this is second review of my blog and we are going to cover the latest product out of The Flagship Company. This matte paste has been the first of many paste pomades which have come out of the current market, so lets see how this compares to the others.
Ingredients
If we take a look at the side of the jar , the main ingredient would be water followed by candelilla wax and kaolin clay. The candelilla wax sits higher than the kaolin clay which gives the product a slicker feel than most matte paste , making this more of a pomade than a paste.
Packaging
This product comes in a weird 85 gram black jar with white and silver accents, it doesn't look appealing or anything special but we care more about the porduct than the packaging.

Consistency and Application
This product is a hard product. You need to put a slight amount of pressure to force the product out of the jar like a new oil based pomade. It applies slightly tuggy and somewhat smooth in nature but overall it is a very slick application.
Finish
This product has a neutral finish which allows the hair to not look like a lego hairpiece but gives it the minimum shine it requires to make it seems natural.
Hold
The hold on this product is found to be a medium firm , the hair held up to around 4 hours after application which then it dropped and had to be restyled slightly but overall i would think it still is a medium firm.

Conclusion
This product is an amazing product as it can work as a pre and post styler . It shows that the industry has come a long way from gel-type water bases to low shine oil bases , now the industry is focusing on matter products appealing to new generations and users. I would highly reccommend this for people who has smoother hair than me as i had to use a oil to condition my hair before styling as it made is smoother to go in.
